What is TACOGA 1984 ?
TACOGA 1984, officially known as the Tanzania Counselling and Guidance Association, is a professional body established in 1984 with the mission to promote counselling and guidance within higher learning institutions across Tanzania. The association is dedicated to advancing professional, moral, and ethical practices in counselling through training, provision of expert services, and public awareness.
TACOGA 1984 plays a vital role in supporting the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of students by working closely with universities, colleges, and communities. Guided by its core values of integrity, justice, diversity, and excellence, the association strives to foster positive relationships, peaceful conflict resolution, and an inclusive environment that respects the dignity and rights of all individuals.
